CCR 3 - Reflection
Now that I have completed my third CCR, I feel proud of how much I have grown and how many new creative avenues I have explored. This CCR, in particular, pushed me to branch out by designing a full magazine. Even though I chose to work in PowerPoint, mainly because I am more comfortable with it than Canva, I still learned a surprising amount throughout the process. Working in a vertical orientation challenged me to rethink layout design, especially when it came to framing text boxes, balancing white space, and integrating photos in a way that felt cohesive and visually polished.
In terms of writing, I realized how difficult it can be to condense a large amount of information into responses that are clear, meaningful, and concise. I had to be intentional about phrasing my answers, so they did not overwhelm the page, while still revealing enough detail to communicate my ideas effectively. The interview format added another layer of complexity. Writing as the director while also structuring the content as a Q&A required me to balance what was necessary to be included.
Despite the challenges, this CCR helped me discover new ways to express myself creatively, both visually and through writing, and it reinforced how much my production and communication skills have developed throughout the course.
