Case Study - Genre
I conducted a case study on the coming‑of‑age genre using Good Will Hunting as my primary text. My research focused on the genre’s repertoire, the concepts of repetition and difference, the film’s engagement with social and cultural issues, and its marketing strategies. I plan to apply these same insights to the development of my own film.
