Critical Reflection 4 - Planning

Today I began planning my Critical Reflection 4, which asks “How did you integrate technologies-software, hardware, and online-throughout this project?” I decided to design this CCR on PowerPoint using a scrapbook‑style background that visually represents the inner world of Anastasia, tying the aesthetic back to our film. From there, I created a list of all the technologies we used and organized them into three stages: pre‑production, production, and post‑production.

In pre‑production, I am focusing on the tools we used for communication, the creation of our mood board, our planning presentation, and the development of the script. In production, I am covering the filming schedule, the camera, and all equipment such as the tripod, microphone, and gimbal. I am also including lighting with the ring light and the props we relied on, like the computer, outfits, car, suitcase, décor, and letters. For post‑production, I am walking through how we viewed our footage, combined and cut clips, color‑graded scenes, and selected music.

For each stage, I am explaining which platforms or software we used, such as Word, Adobe, Media Player, PowerPoint, and Canva, and why we chose them. I am also noting any challenges we faced with each tool and how they ultimately supported our workflow. This structure helps clearly show how technology shaped every part of our project from planning to the final edit.
