Credits in Post-Production

We modeled our credit reveal after the opening of Adventures in Babysitting, where the titles flip forward toward the screen before becoming fully visible. To achieve a similar effect, we first added our credit graphics and selected fonts that resembled those used in our inspiration. The position titles were set in CC HighJinkies Regular, while the names were set in CC HighJinkies Open, both fonts downloaded from Adobe Creative Cloud.

To create the flipping reveal, we applied the Basic 3D effect from the Perspective category to each credit graphic. At the start of the transition, we set the Swivel value to approximately –89.0 and placed a keyframe. We then moved to the point where the credit should be fully visible and added a second keyframe with the Swivel set to 0.0. This created the forward‑flip motion we were aiming for.

We also adjusted the Opacity to enhance the smoothness of the reveal. At the beginning of the transition, the opacity was set to 0%, and at the end point it was increased to 100%. This prevented the text from appearing abruptly and made the animation feel more seamless.

Once the motion and opacity keyframes were in place, we refined the timing by right‑clicking the first keyframe and selecting Ease Out, then applying Ease In to the final keyframe. This smoothing changed the keyframe icons from diamonds to hourglasses, confirming that the easing was applied correctly. After finalizing the effect, we copied the animation onto the remaining credit graphics to maintain consistency throughout the opening sequence.
