Case Study - Editing & Transitions

I completed a case study on the coming‑of‑age film Little Women, focusing specifically on its editing and transitions. I analyzed the variety of shots used throughout the film, paying close attention to how each shot was composed, the lighting choices, and the narrative purpose behind them. I also examined how scene changes were connected through both visual and audio transitions, noting how these techniques shaped the film’s emotional rhythm and storytelling flow. I hope to incorporate similar stylistic properties into my own film.
